Meet Dr. Lee Hankins DDS

Dr. Hankins was born and raised in Chelan, Washington. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington, where he graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. He stayed on campus to attend UW’s School of Dentistry, one of the most prestigious dental schools in the country, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors.

Dr. Hankins is committed to continuing his dental education and providing his patients with the most innovative dental techniques and practices. Attending annual lectures and classes on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, he continues to stay current with the latest technological advances in dentistry, and is proud to bring these advanced services home to Cashmere.

Meet Cashmere Dental Staff

Shawn
Shawn Office Manager

Shawn has been in dentistry for over 20 years, all of which have been here at Cashmere Dental.  She has been blessed to work the front desk, enabling her to meet and befriend numerous patients that became part of her dental family.  She has embraced the cozy town of Cashmere and all in it.  

Shawn was born and raised in Seattle, WA in 1997 she decided to move to Wenatchee to raise her three beautiful children Mackenzie, Jarred and Travis which was the best decision she ever made.  She loves the valley and spends as much time as she can in the outdoors with her fiancé and adult children and her fur babies.

Jill
Jill Bookkeeper

Jill has been in dentistry for over 21 years having worked in pediatrics most of her career.  She has been here in Cashmere for over 10 years.  She has worked as a chairside assistant and in the front office over her career.  She currently is the bookkeeper for the office and accounts manager, with the occasional opportunities for chairside assisting.

Jill has lived in the Wenatchee valley her entire life.  Family is a big part of her life with her husband Tom and 4 beautiful children Alaina, Savannah, Zoey and Austin all still at home.  She loves to golf, swim, travel, doing crafts and sewing with her children.

Kristin
Kristen Dental Assistant

 She was born in Omak Washington and moved to Cashmere when she was 5 years old.  Graduated from Cashmere High School in 2005. 

She was a hairstylist for 15 years before moving into real estate for a few years.  She went to school to be a dental assistant, then started her career in pediatric dentistry before joining the office here in Cashmere. 

She loves hanging out with her husband and 2 kids fishing, hunting, hiking and anything outdoors.

 

Shellie
Shellie Hygienist

Shellie was born and raised in East Wenatchee and at an early age her family moved out towards the Palisades.  Shellie and her husband Jeff love being close to their family.  Family is a huge priority in her life with a son, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters also living in the valley.

She has enjoyed her participation in the Wenatchee Valley Appleaires Women’s choir for over 20 years.  She loves to camp, fish and mushroom hunt.

Dental hygiene has been an awesome career for her for over 30 years.  She loves helping her patients achieve optimum oral health as well as sharing her education of health and nutrition.

Angie
Angie Dental Assistant

Angie was born in Electric City, Washington and has lived in Cashmere all her life.  Angie started her dental career in 2000 in East Wenatchee. 

She enjoys the daily challenges of dentistry and has always felt and often states “She’s never worked a day in her life”.  Helping and being part of a great dental experience for every patient feels like success.  There is a beginning, middle and end to everything, each step is as important as the next. 

Angie, her husband and son spend their life in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, riding horses and packing into the back country.

 Terry Dental Assistant

Terry started her dental career in Wenatchee in the Spring of 1979.  She has worked for a number of dental offices over the years.  She spent 30 years of her career in Pediatrics.  She enjoyed the everyday challenges of working with children and their parents.

In every office terry has worked at has just added to her overall knowledge of dentistry and she is a very well-rounded dental assistant.

Terry and her husband enjoy fishing in their North River boat “The Cracklin Rose” as often as possible. Terry has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren that she enjoys fishing and camping with.

Terry retired at the end of March 2022, but she will be part of our family forever.
